Texas Medical Board Suspends License of Lubbock Physician
The Texas Medical Board has temporarily suspended the medical license of a Lubbock physician.
David L. Vermillion's license was suspended on Friday after it was determined that his continuation in the practice of medicine posed a continuing threat to public welfare.
Dr. Vermillion has allegedly failed multiple drug tests, and has three recent arrests for violating a Protective Order while on community supervision.
The suspension remains in place until the Board takes further action.
