WalletHub recently compared all 50 states and the District of Columbia to see which states have the highest percentage of at-risk youth. WalletHub took data from 15 indicators to compare the states. Some of the categories included disconnected youth, youth without a high school diploma, obesity rates, homeless rates, drug use, and more.

Overall, Texas is doing okay though there is room to improve. Texas ranked 39th for the percentage of at-risk youth. According to WalletHub, New Jersey was the state with the least amount of at-risk youth. Louisiana had the highest amount of at-risk youth according to the study.
