Ladies and gentlemen, we've reached the peak of our society. We have a dog in Texas that broke the record for most caps removed from plastic water bottles in one minute. I know, I know, save your applause for later.

Sathya Priya Easwaran, a Texas resident, was recently in the spotlight as her dog, 4-year-old Jerry the dachshund, decided to casually break the world record of most plastic caps removed from water bottles in 60 seconds.
Jerry was able to remove 11 bottle caps from plastic water bottles in one minute. Hot dog!
There's no denying that this is one clever wiener dog, but allow me to clarify something. These bottles of water were not full, they were emptied beforehand and we don't know how tight the caps were. Regardless, this is an impressive feat for any animal or even any human under the age of two.

A Record-Breaking Birthday Party
On top of breaking a world record, Jerry accomplished this feat on his birthday! 4 years old and already making history.
Easwaran said that removing caps has always been a hobby of Jerry's, and that he enters into this mode of extreme focus and can nail whatever task is given to him.
On top of all of this, Jerry allegedly needed zero practice whatsoever, he just hit the ground running on his birthday and didn't stop until he broke the record.
I hope Jerry can be an example to us all to never give up on our goals, even if they seem impossible to reach. Oh, and also to accept that wet dog food is much better than dry.
