
Where to Stay Warm During the Winter Storm In Texas
An arctic cold front will begin making its way through Texas on Friday. And unless you've been living under a rock, you probably know this will lead to snow and ice and of course really cold temperatures across Texas including here in Lubbock.
And if you are in need of a place to stay warm, you are in luck because there are several places across Lubbock and Texas that will remain open and available.
Warming Centers In Lubbock During the Winter Storm
According to KAMC, there will be several places citizens can go to stay warm this weekend if you or someone else needs to. Those places include the Salvation Army sites at 1111 16th Street and at 1614 Avenue J. Open Door at 1918 13th Street and Grace Campus at 1301 Avenue are places where you can stay warm.

KAMC also reported that the City of Lubbock as activated libraries as warming centers. That includes the Patterson Library, Groves Library, Godeke, and the Mahon Library. The libraries will have set days and times that they are open to the public.
