Tom Collins and Laura Mac visited with Jennifer Retarskey & Dee Ann Milford with Teaching and Mentoring Communities (TMC), which assists, under the Migrant Seasonal Head Start program, children of migrant seasonal farm workers in the area.

Head Start has an urgent need for help, and is now hiring people for many different positions within many communities surrounding Lubbock. Applicant requirements differ depending upon the job.

TMC will be hosting five job fairs, with one on September 11, 15,17,18,19, for people who would like to have work helping migrant farm workers' children ages 6 months through Kindergarten age.
