A political group will be coming into Lubbock tomorrow to contact certain voters to remind them about the election and some particular candidates.

The Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest tea party political action committee, is bringing its Mobile Phone Bank to Lubbock and Amarillo on Tuesday, May 29th.

The Mobile Phone Bank Bus will be in Lubbock at the ASCO Office Building, located at 2102 East Slaton Highway in Lubbock from 10 a.m. until 11:15 a.m.

They will head to Amarillo, where they will be at another ASCO Office Building, this one located at 7576 I-40 East.

The bus made its debut in Dallas Monday afternoon at an event with U.S. Senate Candidate Ted Cruz.

Volunteers will have the opportunity to call voters and campaign for Ted Cruz over U.S. Senate Candidate and current Texas Lt. Governor David Dewhurst.

“We can follow down the road of Obama who continues to expand the government on the backs of innovators and job creators, or we can restore the economic liberties, allowing the private sector and to help us grow out of this recession,” said Amy Kremer, chairman of Tea Party Express.

“We believe in the latter, and Texas presents an opportunity to elect a true conservative who is qualified and ready to implement the pro-growth free market policies our nation needs.”
