Tamara Colbert Working to Return Power to States [VIDEO]

Wednesday on The Chad Hasty Show, Tamara Colbert, Texas State Director for the Convention of States Project joined KFYO to talk about her organization's goals in reducing the size of the federal government.

"We don't want to make government a little bit smaller, we want to make 'big government' a whole lot smaller", Colbert said after being introduced.

The Convention of States Project is a national project with leaders who are active in all 50 states. The organization's primary objective is to reign in the federal government using a gathering of states in an amending convention which would involve the legislators from those states.

There has been a gross expansion of the federal government, and the direction that they have put America on is unsustainable. And we have to have constitutional recourse to right the American ship, and we [the Convention of States Project] can do that.
