After back-to-back wins over Oklahoma State and Baylor, Texas Tech's women’s tennis team jumped to No.15 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings.

Led by senior Kenna Kilgo and freshman Sarah Dvorak, the No. 23 Texas Tech women’s tennis team upset Oklahoma State 4-3 Sunday at the McCloud Tennis Center.

The No. 24 Texas Tech men’s tennis team defeated Louisiana 6-1 on Sunday in the final non-conference match of the season at the McLeod Tennis Center.

Both Texas Tech’s men’s and women’s tennis teams are nationally ranked and will be in action this weekend, March 13-15.

Texas Tech, who is now the No. 1 seed, will face either No. 13 Texas or No. 37 Oklahoma at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Mitchell Tennis Center at Texas A&M.

On Monday, 20th ranked Notre Dame edged No. 21 ranked Texas Tech after a rain delay that stretched the match out to last more than 8 and a half hours.
