A Lubbock police officer and Lubbock firefighter were killed after being struck by a vehicle while working a pair of crashes on Interstate 27 Saturday morning.
A Ford pickup and a semi-truck were both traveling east on FM 1585 when the pickup somehow hit the semi-truck, causing both vehicles to veer off the road
The fire occurred at a home in the 2600 block of East 8th Street and Zenith Avenue. LFR has not yet said what caused the fire or how extensive the damage is.
