Lubbock Fire Rescue says that they responded to multiple reports of lightning striking structures around Lubbock due to storms over the weekend, one of which caused a fire.

According to KAMC News, one of the strikes may have started a fire that burned a storage building and spread to a home in the 8200 block of Louisville on Saturday.

The Lubbock Fire Department says that the fire spread to the exterior of the home but was extinguished before any major damage occurred.
