Lubbock media legend, Paul R. Beane, ended a broadcast career spanning almost 60 years on Wednesday (April 30, 2014).  Beane's farewell edition of The Way I See It aired at 1:30p during Rush Limbaugh on News/Talk 790, KFYO. Beane's swan song in Lubbock radio started just over four years ago after an idea had been hatched in a meeting at the Fox & Hound with Beane, Robert Pratt and Rob Snyder.
