While the Up Campus re-zoning request in the Tech Terrace neighborhood was rejected by the Lubbock City Council one building might still be demolished.

Lubbock police officers were out in force at the Covenant Hospital west parking garage Wednesday (May 29th) in the 3600 block of 21st Street.

"The easiest thing that I recommend to folks as they're trying to make these decisions is to look at your insurance card," Lancaster said.

"We're part of the Covenant network and so we can move people within the Covenant system pretty easily whether it's from our urgent care to the emergency room to directly to the hospital depending on the patients needs at the time of presentation," Dr. Hendershot explained.

"You're going to get the same level of care at these locations as you might at Covenant Medical Center."

"This whole freestanding ER concept really started about 15 years ago in Dallas and Houston really as a response to terrible wait times and often bad experiences in the traditional hospital," Dr. Berman explained.
