Texas DPS reports the accident occurred on U.S. 84 in Dickens County, when a Chevy Trailblazer suffered a blowout and rolled several times in the center median.
Covenant Health on Wednesday reiterated that so far, no cases of COVID-19, the novel coronavirus, have been confirmed at any of their facilities or clinics.
"We're part of the Covenant network and so we can move people within the Covenant system pretty easily whether it's from our urgent care to the emergency room to directly to the hospital depending on the patients needs at the time of presentation," Dr. Hendershot explained.
"This whole freestanding ER concept really started about 15 years ago in Dallas and Houston really as a response to terrible wait times and often bad experiences in the traditional hospital," Dr. Berman explained.
