Friday on The Chad Hasty Show, Patrick Svitek from the Texas Tribune joined the show to discuss the latest from the 85th Texas Legislature, and the possibility of a special session being called by Governor Greg Abbott.

Svitek and Hasty talked about the texting and driving ban bill that is headed to the governor's desk, budget compromises, and the status of SB-2's property tax reform.

While talking about the possibility that Governor Abbott will sign the texting while driving legislation, Svitek said,

Now that this bill is finally reaching his desk...he's signaling at least that he's undecided on it.
