One of the suspects wanted for the murder of a man in Lubbock was arrested in Hobbs, New Mexico by U.S. Marshals.

On Tuesday, August 12, 2014, 22-year old Marya J. Caraveo was arrested for the murder of Fabian Rios.

Rios was shot and killed in Lubbock during the early hours of July 30. At the time of his death, Rios was wanted for an aggravated assault charge in Big Spring. Police have been searching for Caraveo and her suspected partner Noel Serrano and believed they had absconded to New Mexico.

There has been no word on where Caraveo is being held and no word on Serrano’s whereabouts.
