A recent study in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute shows no link between using a cell phone and brain cancer in children and teenagers.

Cell phone use among children has increased worldwide, which has caused a bit of concern for some. Children's nervous systems are still developing, and the emissions produced by cell phones penetrate deeper into their brains. However, after two decades worth of research, scientists have determined that there is little to no evidence to support the theory that a child's cell phone use leads to increased risk of brain cancer.

Now that the "cell phones give you cancer" argument is gone, it looks like parents will have to find another excuse to not buy their kids that cell phone they've been begging for.
