South Quaker Closed at 114th Street For Drainage Culvert Installation

A portion of Quaker Avenue in south Lubbock has completely closed for the next month.

The area closed will run from 114^th Street to Salisbury Boulevard.

Work crews are installing a new drainage culvert across the major thoroughfare.

Motorists are encouraged to use Slide Road or Indiana Avenue during the construction period. An alternate entrance will also have to be used to enter the Vintage Township area.
