The Shack BBQ is asking for your help.

It's hard enough for local businesses to make it in Lubbock right now, the last thing anyone needs is to be robbed, but that is exactly what happened to The Shack BBQ sometime between 6 p.m. Sunday and Tuesday at 8 a.m.

The owners of The Shack BBQ, who just recently reopened the BBQ restaurant, took to Facebook on Tuesday to explain what had happened and to ask for any information that anyone would have.

We need your help Lubbock!!! Someone decided to break in and rob us. Did alot of damage. We are wondering if anyone saw any cars in the parking lot or anything suspicious between Sunday after 6pm till Tuesday at 8am. Please message us with any info or contact the Lubbock Police department. Shame on whoever did this. We will see y'all Thursday.

We aren't sure if The Shack has cameras or not, but what we do know is that they aren't located in a big neighborhood area with lots of cars around all the time. The Shack is located at 2309 Frankford Avenue.

If you saw anything suspicious or something that just didn't look right. Even if it was just a car in the parking lot, please call The Shack BBQ or the Lubbock Police Department.

The Shack re-opened their doors in June after going through an ownership change and being closed for a year due to COVID 19. It took a while for The Shack to get open as they had delays in the process. The Shack will reopen Thursday.
