Smokers Haven Named Donation Center Of The Year

The organization Operation: Cigars For Warriors has announced that Smokers Haven in Lubbock has been named the 2019 Donation Center of the Year. Smokers Haven, one of the state's longest running tobacconist, was the first donation center ever set up for Operation: Cigars For Warriors.

Operation: Cigars For Warriors is a non-profit organization operating across the nation that provides premium cigars and accessories to U.S. troops serving overseas. Since 2012, the organization has provided nearly one million cigars to men and women defending our nation across the globe. Operation: Cigars For Warriors has also sent coffee, lighters, cutters, and magazines in addition to cigars.

Smokers Haven in Lubbock is a donation center and has been since Operation: Cigars For Warriors began collecting cigars and according to a press release, John Curtis of Smokers Haven has been instrumental in the success of both Smokers Haven and Operation: Cigars For Warriors.
