Smoker’s Haven Event Will Feature La Aroma de Cuba Cigars [INTERVIEW]

Wednesday on The Chad Hasty Show, Ron Orr from Smoker's Haven joined the show in the KFYO studio to talk about the shop's La Aroma de Cuba cigar event happening Thursday, May 12, 2016.

The event takes place from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., and will feature deals on La Aroma de Cuba cigars. Tickets are $10 at the door, with the entry price applying to your purchase. Food and drinks will be available.

Orr and Hasty also discussed the recent news about the FDA's new regulations on "e-cigarettes" and cigars, and how the regulation will affect cigars makers and retailers.

Orr said, "It's not going to have a good impact on cigars, and shops like Smoker's Haven. Especially for boutique cigars, those will probably end up going under, because there's going to be a lot stricter regulations."

Orr continued, specifically talking about how premium tobacco is being restricted alongside "vaping" products, saying,

"To lump all premium cigars and pipe tobacco within that same umbrella is a massive overreach."

Smoker's Haven is located at 5102 60th Street in Lubbock, just east of South Plains Mall.
