Single Vehicle Accident Results in Death

Accident investigators are investigating an early morning accident that occurred early Saturday (Sept. 4) morning.

Officers responded to the 3600 block of the North Loop 289 eastbound access road for a single vehicle accident. When officers arrived, they found the driver of the vehicle, 21 year-old Danny Licerio, with life threatening injuries.

Licerio was taken to University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators say the vehicle was traveling east on the eastbound access road of North Loop 289 when Licerio lost control around a curve. The vehicle left the roadway and flipped multiple times.
