Texas Ag Commissioner Sid Miller joined The Chad Hasty Show on Monday in Lubbock. Miller was in Lubbock speaking to agriculture groups in and around Lubbock.

During the discussion Miller warned of legislation that has been passed out of the Senate that would change the way fuel pump regulation are overseen. Miller warned that the legislation would harm consumers because the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration would oversee fuel pumps and they lack inspectors according to Miller.

In particular Miller warned that the fuel pump skimmer program that his department had started would be done away with and that could harm consumers in Texas who have been impacted by credit card fraud.
