Senate Candidate Tom Leppert Talks About His Jobs Plan on KFYO, Pledges to Serve No More Than Two Terms
Tom Leppert is a businessman and former Dallas mayor, now running for the Senate seat held by Kay Bailey Hutchison, who is not running for re-election in 2012. On Lubbock’s First News on KFYO, he talked about his jobs plan, which includes tax reform and reducing the role of government.
Leppert says he’s not a career politician.
“I don’t want another career, ” Leppert said. “I’m very happy to put a limitation on it. No more than two terms. The reality of it is we’re going to have to address this fiscal situation in the next term.”
