Thursday on The Chad Hasty Show, District 19 Representative Jodey Arrington joined the program to discuss a variety of topics, including the recent turmoil surrounding the Trump administration, as well as term limits, and protection for veterans.

While speaking of the media's constant negative drumbeat in coverage of the Trump presidency, Arrington said,

They're in a frenzy, they're frothing at the mouth to discredit this President. And listen, if the facts demonstrate that there are problems there and that there's behavior that is not appropriate, or even illegal, I'll handle that in a way that's non-partisan. I'm not going to be partisan about those kind of things. I'm an American first. But I gotta tell you, there's little to zero objectivity in the mainstream media.

Arrington and Hasty also talked about the bi-partisan legislation introduced by Arrington in the House, which would limit terms in office for members of the U.S. House of Representatives, as well as in the U.S. Senate. Arrington said, "If we're going to change the course of this country, we're going to have to change the culture of Washington. And one way to do that is to put limits on, I wish I could term limit the national media, but the next best thing is to limit politicians in their time [in Washington, D.C.]. I think that will change the dynamic in a positive way."

During his exclusive interview on KFYO where he announced the term-limit legislation, Arrington signed the legislation to be sent to the House. He posted the video on Twitter.

Arrington also shared information about his bill, H.R. 1461, the VET Protection Act of 2017, which deals with veteran's affairs and the activities of union members in the V.A.
