A Lorenzo, Texas woman who told police she had been drinking and smoking marijuana before she was involved in a fatal car crash was recently released from the Lubbock County Jail.

Twenty-year-old Keely Walker was involved in a car accident that killed 52-year-old Hector Villarreal-Castaneda on Tuesday, November 6th, 2018.

A search warrant showed Walker was speeding and ran a stop sign, hitting Villareal-Castandea near 2700 East Broadway. According to the search warrant, Walker also told police she had used cocaine three days before the crash and smoked marijuana on the day of the crash.

Walker was released from jail after posting a $100,000 bond. She's been charged with intoxication manslaughter.
