You can still see Santa Claus at the South Plains Mall this holiday season, but there will be a few changes. The South Plains Mall says in a press release that interactions with Santa will be contactless due to COVID-19, but he’s still showing up.

Both Santa and the kids who want to meet him will need to wear a mask and maintain a safe distance during the visit, but they can still participate in a photo experience that’s been "fully re-designed to meet the moment," according to the mall. Exactly what the process will be like is not clear.

Santa Claus will be at the South Plains Mall beginning December 4th, 2020, and will make several scheduled appearances throughout the month. Here's the outline of his schedule:

December 4th & 5th – Noon to 3 p.m. | 4 to 8 p.m.

December 6th – 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. | 3 to 7 p.m.

December 8th through 23rd – Noon to 3 p.m. | 4 to 8 p.m.

December 24th – 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. | 2 to 5 p.m.
