The lawsuit war between Samsung and Apple isn't over. The two companies might be going to war over Apple's new iPhone 5 that releases today. The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Samsung is anticipating accusing Apple of copyright infringement over the iPhone 5. According to the WSJ:

Samsung Electronics Co. said Thursday it anticipates accusing Apple Inc. of patent infringement over the iPhone 5, in a U.S. court case separate from the one that grabbed world-wide attention last month.

With that second case not due for trial until 2014, however, Samsung's plan is unlikely to affect the availability of Apple's new smartphone. The iPhone 5 was set to go on sale Friday in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the U.S. and next week in 22 more countries.

We will see what happens, but I anticipate that these two companies will be going back and forth for years. If you are an attorney for Samsung or Apple, you've got to think you have pretty good job security.
