Salata Salad Kitchen Has Opened The First of Three Locations In Lubbock

If you are looking for a salad for lunch or dinner, a new restaurant featuring salad's has just opened in Lubbock and they have plans for even more locations.

Salata Salad Kitchen, a Houston-based franchise, has opened in Lubbock. The first location which opened on Monday is located at the all new Covenant Park located at 7620 82nd Street in Lubbock. It's open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday they are open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

If you've never been to a Salata Kitchen Salad before, it's a restaurant where you basically build your own salad. My wife and I went to one in the Dallas-area a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. Caution though, the large salad is really, really big.

Customers can choose from six salad bases, over 50 different toppings, and 11 different salad dressings. You can eat there or get your salad to go. They also serve wraps and soups as well.

This is just the first of at least 3 locations that have been planned for Lubbock. Salata has been a long-awaited business in Lubbock after announcing a year ago their plan to open locations in Lubbock. According to KAMC, a second location is planned for Kingsgate Center North in 2025.
