AAA Texas reported another week of increasing gas prices that still remain well below last year’s prices.

According to the Texas Weekend Gas Watch report, the average price for a gallon of unleaded gasoline is at $2.07, $1.06 less than last year.

AAA Texas said drivers in Dallas and Fort Worth are paying the highest at an average of $2.14 per gallon and those in San Antonio the least at an average of $2 a gallon. The national average is higher at $2.23, but well below last year’s average of $3.32.

Gasbuddy.com reports prices in Lubbock as low as $1.96 on Friday, February 13.
