Ride Citibus With U Can Share Food Drive Donation

Lubbock residents can ride Citibus while helping with an annual food drive.

Riders can skip the fee for riding Citibus through December 7^th by donating acceptable non-perishable food items to the “U Can Share” food drive.

Passengers can ride all day by donating three cans of food or boxed items. You can also ride one way with one food donation.

CitiAccess passengers can also receive a one-way trip for three food item donations. CitiAccess offers door-to-door scheduled rides for those who are not able to ride the regular Citibus. You can schedule CitiAccess rides by calling 712-2000, extension 235.

Citibus partners with the South Plains Food Bank throughout the year by transporting citizens who have food box vouchers donated to them by local agencies and churches.

Last year, Citibus passengers donated more than 9,400 pounds of food to the SPFB.
