Tuesday on The Chad Hasty Show, District 19 Representative Jodey Arrington joined the show to share his experience and memories from Washington, D.C. on September 11, 2001.

Arrington was on staff working for President George W. Bush in the White House when the attacks were taking place. During the show today, Arrington spoke about reasons for the attacks, the freedoms cherished by Americans, and went on to describe the atmosphere and events in and around the White House during the attacks.

Arrington said,

The jets were scrambling above, smoke was coming up from the Pentagon, it just felt like we were under siege. It was a really surreal feeling and experience. And then of course everything changed for our country from that point on.
