Reagan Era Official Speaks Out Against Regulation of the Internet

James Miller III served in the Reagan Administration in the 1980’s.  Now he’s crusading against government regulation of the internet.  On KFYO, he said regulation of the internet would be bad for small business, big business, everybody:

“There’s just an enormous variety of options that you have with using search engines, using direct URL’s,” Miller said.  “For the government to come in and say, ‘ This one’s good, this one’s bad, and we ought to take this one off, or we ought to ought to hamstring this one,’ that just lowers the opportunities for everybody.
