Another hands-on great event is coming to the National Ranching Heritage Center. It's called Quailapalooza and it will be open to kids between the ages of 5 and 12 who want to learn more about Quail and how they are studied.

During Quailapalooza, those participating will get a "hands-on" range experience that focuses on the Northern Bobwhite Quail. The entire experience is presented by Texas Tech and Quail-Tech. Those participating will get to see live quail and learn about their natural habitat, learn about nesting, and much more according to a press release.

“For many ranchers, the Northern Bobwhite Quail is a treasured rangeland inhabitant. Unfortunately, bobwhite populations are declining throughout their historic range in Texas,” said Dr. Brad Dabbert, Burnett Foundation Endowed Professor of Quail Ecology.

The program costs $5 for non-members and is free to Ranching Heritage Association members. To register for the event, visit Limited space is available.

Don't miss out on this great educational event for kids at the National Ranching Heritage Center.
