Adventure Park (5110 29th Drive) in Lubbock is fast approaching its grand opening. This week, local media, including yours truly, received a special invitation for a sneak preview of what they have in store for the Hub City.

The place is a kid's dream come true. And, if you're like me, it's great for adults, too.

There's an arcade with air hockey, skee ball, and more games where you can rack up tickets to trade in for prizes. There are indoor climbing walls that even me, artificial hip and all, can conquer. There's also a spin zone (think: spinning bumper cars) and a laser maze. And that's just inside. Outside is a massive cargo net course and rock wall that's seven stories high, putt-putt, bumper boats and a go-kart track. A ropes course, biking trail and zip line are also under construction.

As far as pricing goes, there are family-friendly packages available to keep the little ones entertained all day. If your child prefers just one or two activities, individual pricing is available.

Even better: If your kid(s) really love Adventure Park, they have season passes available. If you do the math, you can save a ton of money on these.

You can see the full prices rundown in the photo at the top of this blog.

Adventure Park told us they don't have a firm opening date just yet (probably sometime this spring), they are doing a special RSVP-only weekend on March 23rd and 24th, 2019. You can buy your tickets for this public sneak peek (which includes everything but their still-under construction rope course and zip line) at their website.

Once Adventure Park opens, their hours will be: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday - Thursday, and 11 a.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
