A portion of the Marsha Sharp Freeway in Lubbock will close next week.

Beginning on Monday, November 11th, TxDOT will reduce a segment of the westbound main lanes of the freeway at Quaker Avenue to one lane of traffic.

The left lane and shoulder will be closed to allow crews to make concrete repairs.

Motorists can expect delays and are asked to drive with caution through the work zone.

Repairs are expected to take two to three weeks to complete, weather permitting.
