Police Searching for Mother Who Abandoned Toddler with Babysitter

There are just some people out there who should have no business having children. For example, a mother who tries to leave her child with a babysitter and refuses to pick him back up.

In Indiana, a "mother" (and I use the term loosely here...) left her 1-year-old son with a babysitter she found on Craigslist and refused to pick him back up. The sitter claims that the mother never gave her an emergency number, place of employment or even her full name. When police tried to call the mother, she allegedly replied, "Quit [expletive] calling my phone," and hung up. The child has since been turned over to Child Protective Services.

You know, negligent parents like this just confound me. If you didn't want to have a kid, then you shouldn't have gotten pregnant. Simple as that.
