Pat Kelly Says Private Investors Responsible For Downtown Properties, City for Infrastructure [Interview]

Tuesday on The Chad Hasty Show, Pat Kelly, candidate for Lubbock City Council District 1, joined Chad in the KFYO studio to talk about his positions on issues in the race.

Kelly and Hasty discussed several issues factoring in the election, including downtown revitalization, rising property valuations and hidden tax fees, city debt, the controversial issues regarding the Lubbock Municipal Auditorium and Coliseum, and more.

While discussing downtown redevelopment, and which entities should bear the costs, Kelly said,

The private investors, the property owners need to take care of their own property. That said, I think the city needs to step up to the plate on infrastructure.
