A crowd of over 35,000 is expected to gather on 34th street on December 9th for the 13th annual Miracles Christmas Parade. The parade will begin at 6 p.m. at 34th and Avenue Q and head west to 34th and Indiana. The parade has become a favorite of the Lubbock community during the Christmas season.

Organizers are currently accepting applications for those businesses and organizations that would like to participate in this year's parade. This year's parade theme is "March of the Toys". U.S. Marines will again be collecting toys this year for Toys for Tots. Last year more than 8,000 toys were collected according to a press release.
