An investigation by OSHA began today in Plainview to investigate the collapse of a grain elevator on October 26th which injured one employee.

The Plainview Daily Herald reports that an unnamed employee was injured Friday when authorities say a small grain elevator collapsed on top of him. The employee was cleaning wheat when the incident occurred at Plainview Farm Chemical and has never been cited by OSHA.

The Plainview Fire Department responded to the incident, and the man was transported to Plainview-Hale County Airport where he was airlifted to University Medical Center in Lubbock where his condition is not known at this time.
