Nursing Home Van Rollover Near New Deal Sends Two to Hospital

The rollover of a nursing home van near New Deal this morning sends two to the hospital.

A blowout caused the van from the Littlefield Hospitality nursing home to roll on Interstate 27 not far from New Deal, and trapped a wheelchair-bound resident inside.

The person was freed from the van by emergency responders.

Both the driver and the formerly-trapped passenger were taken to University Medical Center for treatment.

The names of the victims have not yet been released.
