Thursday on Lubbock's First News, Robin Henson with Lubbock Moonlight Musicals talked about their upcoming production.

The show Marry Me a Little will open Friday March 14 and run Saturday March 15, 21 and 22. Dinner and the show will be held at the Christine DeVitt Icehouse Theatre at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., respectively. The play tells the story of two single people meeting at their apartment building, sharing their longing. Henson said, "The music that they sing in their process of loneliness and wishing for a relationship are absolutely gorgeous."  The pieces of the production were previously written by well known composer Stephen Sondheim for other plays, but didn't make the final cut. So this play was written around a compilation of all those pieces.

Tickets are $20 for the show only, or tickets including dinner are $60 for closer seating or $45 for seating slightly further away.
