A man from New Home has admitted to receipt and distribution of child pornography and now faces up to 20 years in federal prison.

KAMC News reports that back in July of 2020, New Home Police received a Cyber Tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. This tip was in relation to a New Home resident uploading child pornography to a social media platform.

The IP address mentioned in the Cyber Tip was linked to the suspect, 23-year-old Emmanuel Nicholas Rosa. Law enforcement later received multiple other tips related to the same issue, and all the usernames provided were also linked to Rosa.

It wasn't until a year later in July of 2021 when police executed a search warrant of Rosa's home. Officers managed to locate around 85 images of child pornography on his cell phone.

Rosa later admitted to law enforcement to trading child pornography using the multiple aforementioned usernames on social media. If his plea deal is accepted by a federal judge, he faces a maximum of 20 years in prison.
