Neugebauer: Ryan Is Ready to Serve as President If There is a Vacancy
“Paul Ryan can take on that constitutional responsibility.”
That’s Lubbock Rep. Randy Neugebauer on KFYO responding to a question about whether Mitt Romney’s choice for VP is ready to step in as president if there is a vacancy.
“He’s very smart,” Neugebauer said. “He’s been a member of congress for 12 years. So he’s been exposed to a very broad amount of issues. Not just the budget issues. But foreign policy issues, defense issues, all of those things.”
Ryan is currently chairman of the House Budget Committee.
