Much Needed Rainfall Comes to the South Plains

The predictions for rain across the South Plains were proven true this morning.  Here, at the KFYO Studios in southwest Lubbock, one tenth of an inch or rain was recorded through 8:30am.

Other rainfall totals include: 0.18" in Denver City, 0.13" in Morton, 0.15" in Plainview and 0.08" in Abernathy.

There is still a chance for more rain over the course of the rest of today.
