Texans will be enjoying short sleeve weather this week, but that doesn't mean we are done with winter yet.

Those who love Spring and Summer-like temperatures will be rejoicing this week as most of Texas will be dealing with well above average temperatures and some parts of the state will see near record warm temperatures this week.

Some areas in Texas could even see high temperatures in the 90's to triple digits in South Texas.

The Texas Storm Chasers Facebook page put together a nice guide showing the expected high temperatures in different parts of the state through the week.

So do the warm temperatures mean winter is over in Texas? Not at all.

Another Arctic Cold Front Could Impact Texas Early Next Week

Over the weekend, Chris Suchan, a meteorologist in San Antonio posted on Facebook about a potential arctic cold front that could bring "winter shenanigans" to parts of Texas.

Temperatures are expected to cool down, possibly beginning Saturday or Sunday and right now the National Weather Service forecast does show high temperatures much, much cooler next Monday and Tuesday compared to this week. I've even seen some forecast that predict sleet next week for Lubbock. But that's a week away and things could change.

Two things are pretty clear though. It's going to be warm in Texas this week, but a cool down is coming. Winter is not over yet.
