Mayor Tom Martin Explains Prep for Winter Weather

Winter weather has arrived.

On KFYO, Mayor Tom Martin talked about how the city prepared for it.

“We stockpile the materials to put on the streets.  We have sand.  We have magnesium chloride, the things we can put on the bridges and the overpasses and the streets if the ice gets really bad."

Martin said the city council can amend the budget if the amount allocated for bad weather is not enough.
