Mayor Glen Robertson’s Number One Priority: Electricity

“My thoughts are it’s a great program.”

That was Mayor Glen Robertson on KFYO, talking about Imagine Lubbock Together, an effort by the chamber of commerce and Lubbock citizens to look to the future.  So, what  does the mayor think about when looking to the future?
“Number one priority for me right now is electric generation.  It is a deadline that is looming out there about 6 ½ years ahead of us.  Every time I get to thinking about the future of Lubbock, 5, 10, 15, 20 years down the line, the first thing that always comes to my mind is electricity.
