It seems like the only thing people do is complain about LP&L. I want to give them a HUGE shout out for their incredible work.

Thursday night (June 29) around 11 p.m., my electricity was going crazy and my digital meter stopped working. I was already having a super busy and stressful day, and was expecting the same again on Friday. This is not what I needed.

I contacted LP&L's service center about my pseudo-outage, and honestly, I didn't expect to see anyone for a couple of hours. I was in total shock when a lineman showed up in 20 minutes.

He took a look at my end of things and determined it was at the pole, but it wasn't just me; several of my neighbors were affected, too.

All in all, it took about an hour and 15 minutes from the phone call until the repair was made and I was back up and enjoying AC again.

I have to hand it to LP&L -- they were quick to respond and get the problem solved.

Remember folks, at the end of the day there is always something positive that can be said for hard work and customer satisfaction.
