Construction work will begin next week to complete a phase of the Marsha Sharp Freeway project.

The Texas Department of Transportation announced Thursday afternoon they will build bridges over Milwaukee Avenue at Spur 327 as part of the sixth phase of the Marsha Sharp Freeway project.

Other work on the project includes new interchanges with Spur 327 and Milwaukee Avenue along with entrance and exit ramps from the Spur to Milwaukee. Improvements to Milwaukee will be made as well.
