Lubbock Bar Hosting Benefit Show for 4-Year-Old Girl With Brain Cancer

A benefit concert for a Lubbock girl fighting cancer is set for this weekend.

On Sunday, February 24th, 2019 at 3 p.m., Downtown Social LBK is hosting a concert to help 4-year-old Mariah Covarrubio and her battle with cancer. The young

Doctors found a tumor known as a Pilocytic astrocytoma in Mariah's brain. The treatment for this form of brain cancer is chemo therapy, which she's currently receiving.

According to the club, the concert will raise money for Mariah and her family to help cover living costs and medical treatment.

Alive and Left for Dead, Element and Mojavesol will be performing live. The cover cost is $5/person, and 100 percent of funds raised will go to the Covarrubio Family.

Downtown Social LBK is located at 1711 Texas Ave. in the Depot District.
