A former Wichita Falls police officer has now been charged in the deaths of two teens and a unborn baby. Evidence shows thirty-year-old Teddie Whitefield was traveling in excess of 80 mph down Jacksburo highway when he struck the victims' vehicle. He was hospitalized and later fired.

Whitefield posted $75,000 in bonds, and was released. He has been charged with three counts of manslaughter. The city of Witchita Falls has paid $500,000 in settlement fees to the deceased teen's families.
